Walk Away Auto Lock
Walk Away Auto Lock by Honda is a very convenient feature that allows the vehicle to lock automatically when you walk away from it. Once you get 2.5 meters away from the vehicle with the keys with you, the vehicle will lock automatically. With this feature you never have to worry about forgetting to lock the vehicle again.
How to set-up Walk Away Auto Lock
Enabling walk away auto lock is simple. Follow these seven simple steps below to see how easy it is.
Press home on your display screen which is located on the top left portion of the screen right below the green power button.
Press settings
Now select vehicle
Select keyless access setup
press walk away auto lock
Select enable
Then finally press OK.
That's it! It's that easy. Now it is ready to use.
How to use Walk Away Auto Lock
All you have to do shut the vehicle off. Make sure you have the key with you. Exit the vehicle and shut the door. You will here the 1st beep once the door is shut and once you get 2.5 meters away from the vehicle you should here a second beep signaling that the vehicle has locked. To reenter the vehicle just use the key fob or the keyless access method just like you normally would.
